Continuity Sheets

These rundowns or 'Continuity Sheets' represent a comprehensive list of all the stories which comprise each of the bi-weekly newsreels that Fox Movietone News distributed to theatres throughout the country from 1927 to 1963. The above rundown is from a continuity sheet dated December 13th. The Volume and Release numbers, 8/26 in this case, are however readily identifiable and can be used to locate the year on which this particular newsreel was screened. Fox Movietone did issue newsreels with slight regional differences, especially with regards to sports stories. These discrepancies are often noted in the margins of the sheet.
